Impact Sports Academy was founded to provide our local youth the opportunity to grow and evolve through mind, body, and soul.
Our program focuses on the progression of skills through innovative training to develop each player into a well-balanced athlete. We vow to meet individual player needs by increasing their game intelligence, physical performance, and love for the game. Through the instruction of our coaches, players learn teamwork, communication, listening, and leadership to be the best they can be, both on and off the field. Your player may come in with the basics but will leave with skills to Impact the world.
ABOUT IMPACT SPORTS ACADEMY
Impact Sports Academy is located in Mechanicsville, Virginia. We currently offer baseball, softball, NFL flag football, and sports performance training. Our programs are designed to provide your child with a safe and positive environment to maximize their training and learning potential.
Knowing how important a positive example is in a child’s development, we show the way by illustrating to our members what leadership looks like and how to look at everything with a can-do attitude.
Our positive motivation and energy keep bringing players back. Whether it is an intense skills workout or a private coaching lesson, our coaches teach with joy and passion for what they do every day. Players leave our programs a better player, a better individual, and with a smile on their face knowing they worked hard.
We have a strong belief in giving back to the community we occupy. We celebrate individual success and encourage our players and teams to become stronger in all they do. Whether it is helping with a food drive; walking in a parade; writing letters to military men and women overseas; or raising awareness to end bullying and fight obesity; we focus on family and being there for players, families, and our communities.
We bring awareness by building lasting relationships through a mutual passion for sports and well-being.

STACY TUTT
COMMISSIONER OF ATHLETICS
Stacy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from an extensive background in sports. The Tappahannock native was a standout, three-sport athlete at Essex High School. In addition to earning all-state honors in football, he was an all-district performer in both basketball and baseball- and helped lead the Trojans baseball team to a state title as a junior.
After a year at Fork Union Military Academy, Stacy accepted a football scholarship from the University of Richmond. The two-time captain culminated his Richmond career with a record-breaking, award-winning senior season, leading the Spiders to an Atlantic 10 championship and quarterfinal playoff appearance. Stacy left Richmond ranked first all-time in total offense for a season, second all-time in career total offense, third all-time in career passing yards, and fourth all-time in both touchdown passes and point scored in a career. Stacy also spent one season as a reserve on the 2003 Men’s Basketball team that reached the NCAA tournament. For his efforts as a student-athlete, Stacy was selected to the Hall of Fame at Essex High School in 2017 and the University of Richmond in 2021.
Upon graduating from U of R with a degree in Criminal Justice, Stacy signed with the New York Jets as a free agent in 2006. During his time with the Jets, he was a core member of one of the league’s top special teams units. He also saw action at fullback before suffering a career-ending injury in his second season.
In 2009, Stacy returned to the University of Richmond and served as the running backs coach for two seasons. During this time, he founded Tutt Skills Camp, a program offering camps and football-specific skills training for youth in the area. Over the years, Stacy has partnered with multiple schools, churches, and other organizations to share his story and inspire youth to become the best versions of themselves. Stacy brings this same vision to Impact Sports Academy.
Stacy credits his coaches from every level for providing him with the tools to become the person he is today. Through Impact he wants to be able to provide the same guidance and mentorship to athletes that he received from his coaches. He finds fulfillment in working with and creating a positive impact on the lives of young athletes.
He currently resides in Quinton, VA with his wife, Danielle, and two children, Q (Stacy Tutt IV) and Callie.
